Lack of Iron
An iron deficiency could be what is making you sluggish and unable to focus. This is because less oxygen is able to travel to muscles and cells, making you anemic and vulnerable. To fight this off, eat more leafy greens, eggs and lean beef!
Too Many Refined Carbs
Carbs are a quick source of energy. They get you going in the morning, and are a very efficient fuel. However, too many refined carbs can make you feel tired all the time. The spikes in sugar, and the obvious fall once they run out, make you feel exhausted. So, next time you ask yourself the question “Why do I feel tired?”, consider if it’s your diet causing it. In case it is, fixing it is extremely simple: just replace the refined sugar and carbs with vegetables and legumes!
So. We said at the beginning of this article that lack of sleep is the primary obvious reason for feeling tired all the time. But how about inadequate sleep? Sleeping out of your body’s natural rhythm can cause disruptions in your circadian pattern. Respect your body during the weekends, and try not to stay up late on random nights. It’ll catch up to you later.
Relying on energy drinks to rush through the final stages of a project or to wake up in the morning might seem like a good idea, but it’s a bad choice in the long run. The stimulants and sugar might provide a temporary boost, but the fatigue will rebound once they run out. Break the cycle by gradually limiting your intake of these kind of drinks.
Learn to Say “No”
People pleasing comes at a very high cost. It can make you resentful and angry at the expense of your own happiness. Train yourself to say no when the time comes.
