In over 2000 years of history, the positive effect of yogurt on your body was never questioned. This powerful and nutritious drink boosts your immune system and reduces the risk of cancer. Make sure that when you eat yoghurt it has probiotics inside, which are the bacteria that help the milk ferment and that keep your stomach healthy!
There are two very important things you should know about tomatoes: the redder they are, the more antioxidants they contain, and the fresh ones are as good as the packaged ones, as they contain the same quantity of lycopene.
The health benefits of lycopene include the prevention of tumors and coronary diseases.
One of the most delicious and healthy fruits out there: blueberries! They are packed full of antioxidants, fibers and vitamins A and C. You should eat at least a portion of them a day as a snack.
These contain more Omega-3 than salmon, and are great for memory. They also have a notable quantity of proteins, and are loved by bodybuilders and athletes. They can be eaten during any moment of the day. My personal advice would be trying to sprinkle then in a salad to spice things up!
All kind of beans are know to be good for your heart; however, the one that has the most health benefits for your brain is without doubt the black kind. Black beans have antioxidants that improve brain functions, are low calories and have no saturated fats whatsoever. Put them in a burrito or in chili, you will not regret it!
