But how do we meditate together?

Easy peasy lemon squeezy my friend! Devote a certain amount of time to meditate, let’s say 30 minutes to begin with. Find a tranquil space, where you’ll go uninterrupted. Find the perfect meditation music and let it flow on a medium volume.

Next make sure you are both comfortable. If you have two yoga mats, lay them next to each other on the floor. Lie down next to each other and hold hands.

If you don’t have two yoga mats you can lie down on your bed, or sit up on the couch. The important thing is that you are in a quiet space and you are both comfortable.

When the music begins to play, take in a huge breath, completely filling your lungs. Hold your breathe until the count of three. Then release. Repeat this exercise until your meditation time is up.

If you both feel a bit lost in the process, try guided meditation! It’s perfect for beginners and it great because it ensures that you are both on the same level.

Don’t give up on the first attempt to practice meditation for couples if it doesn’t go too well. Meditation is like anything, you need to practise it before you get good at it. The more you guys practise, the more you’ll reel in the benefits of meditation!
