A quick update before giving you our free mp3 of week to download and listen to everytime you want.
It happens sometimes that you have a bad day, where everything around you goes wrong and you feel inattentive and stressed. What to do then? Well maybe you just need a little “me time” to calm your nerves and concentrate.
This is how meditation can be a fast and easy solution to ease anxiety and relieve stress in any situation. Good to do also at work. You don’t need a long meditation session, you don’t need hours and hours of meditation mantras to feel relaxed and in peace with yourself, you just need to take the control of the situation again and this can be done in 5 minutes. The secret? Start from your breathing. A controlled breathing allows you to focus on your breath, leaving all other thoughts out of your mind.
First of all you need to play some background music and to sit in a comfortable position on a chair, with your feet on the floor and be sure to sit up straight with your hands, face palms up, on your knees. Then close your eyes and try to picture something which can induce you into a meditative state for a while, like nature for example. (Music can help you doing so).
Then start breathing, inhale from your nose and exhale from your mouth, slowly. Imagine that all your worries are leaving your body with each breath you exhale and a new energy is filling it every time you inhale.
When the music ends, you will feel calmer and more receptive, ready to go on with your day, without the risk of falling into panic attacks.
Now let’s see the music you can use for these short moments of meditation.
“Breathing (Relaxing Music)” is the title of the song from the album “Sound of Nature” by Music for Deep Relaxation Meditation Academy (MDRM Academy), a meditation song with relaxing nature sounds to help you relax.
Feel free to use this music every time you feel nervous and need a little break from your chaotic life. You can listen to it also if you want to relax at home after work with a long bath or simply on your couch, reading a good book.
