Sleep, bad habits we have before going to sleep.
First rule ever: don’t do any workout activity before going to bed. Fitness training has to be done at least 4 or 6 hours before sleep and the same goes for drinking alcohol or coffee (but also tea).
Avoid abundant dinners, but also fasting can be an obstacle to your good sleep. To help you relax try with bananas, apples or a glass of hot milk.
We sometimes take a nap during the afternoon when we feel tired, but they can be dangerous if you have problems sleeping at night.
In every season the temperature in your room must be set around 18° and 20°; experts suggest not to use your bedroom for other purposes like working or eating and avoid to use tablet, cellphones or computer before sleeping because the excessive light inhibits melatonin production, the sleep hormone.
When counting sheeps isn’t enough you can always listen to some relaxing music with a low volume to help you fall asleep faster, but quietly, in a natural way.
