Have you ever woken up in a bad mood? And the next day being the happiest person on earth? I am a very moody person, especially when I get up on the wrong side of the bed, so it’s vital for me that the first minutes of my day start in a correct way.
Many times music is really helpful, better than an alarm clock. If you suffer from these sudden mood swings, you better pay attention to a few things before going to bed at night and when you wake up in the morning.
Before Going to Sleep
A heavy dinner is not recommended, unless you want to stay awake all night or worst, feel sick in the middle of the night. So choose to eat a light meal with vegetables and meat or fish and if you want something sweet to eat, I’ll suggest you to try with a banana, which facilitates sleep.
Electronic Devices Off
I know it’s really hard to do, but try to avoid to use your mobile devices at least half an hour before going to bed. This helps you relax your brain and if you sleep with your partner it’s a good way to start to communicate between you two.
Time to Go to Bed
Especially if you have really important things to do the next day, it’s vital for you not to stay awake until late, otherwise you’ll wake up tired and there is the risk to oversleep.
Wake Up in the Right Way
If you are used to wake up to the sound of an alarm clock, at least forget to set a fire alarm. Use a soft sound, better if it’s harp music or nature sounds to avoid panic attacks before opening your eyes.
A lot of people love listening to the radio when they get up in the morning and this is often use as alarm clock. If you can be sure that the song that is going to wake you up is not something cruel for your sleeping ears, then good choice! Otherwise, leave it!
