The weekend: two sacred days where you get the chance to charge back the energy you used up working from Monday till Friday. But don’t just throw it away having fun! Here are a couple of simple but productive things you can do in order to make your life a little bit simpler.

Take a Break

First things first. Take a break from everything. Sometimes, the best way to gear your mind towards productivity, is to make sure it is fully charged and ready to bounce! Start your weekend by treating yourself to something you love: may it be a bubblebath, or an extravagant breakfast. Spend your time making sure everything is perfect.

One Small Step at a Time

Don’t wake up on Saturday with a to-do-list comprising of 20 items. Set realistic small goals without piling on stress. Learn to prioritize the most important tasks and weekly goals. Now, you can start.

Declutter

Those shoes you haven’t worn in forever are still lying around. How about moving them somewhere else, or throwing them out all together? Weekends are a chance to make your living space more comfortable and inviting: don’t miss out on it!

Set a Meal Plan

This is best done on Sunday. Set and prepare a meal plan for the rest of the week, especially if you’re gonna be working at the office and eating out at lunch breaks. Bulk cooking meals and setting them aside (maybe even freezing them) is a great way to cut out more time for yourself to relax during the week!

Have Fun

You’re probably done having a productive weekend. What’s rest to do if not to enjoy yourself? Plan a fun night out on Sunday, so you can get some laughs and good time in the system before you head back to work the next day!
